5 out of 5 stars Great product! Very well made and versatile.   November 24, 2008
I love this watter bottle! I'm a college student and when I was looking for a good water bottle, I wanted something that was durable and cool, but inconspicuous. This is the perfect one! I can use it when I work out, but it's also great for taking to classes. I just drink through the straw in class and I don't get people staring at me like I'm a moron for tilting my head back to drink my water in class. It's also great that I don't have to worry about it spilling in my book bag or when I knock it over since its one-way valves don't let water out unless I'm biting on the straw. I've already bought a couple of these as gifts for my health conscious friends, and I plan on buying several more as Christmas presents. Definitely worth the little extra you spend to get this great water bottle!

5 out of 5 stars great!   November 23, 2008
These water bottles are great so far. Everyone wanted one in the family and everyone's drinking a lot more water. The flip design is great for hikes - keeps the water in yet easily accessed for a drink. No plastic taste, durable.

5 out of 5 stars Good day-to-day bottle   November 23, 2008
I was a little bit skeptical about the bite valve top for this water bottle, so I also purchased the same CamelBak (different color) with a regular twist off top as well. Both turned out to be great products, but if anything this one is better. I love the little straw - its easy to use and actually makes me drink more water. The only time its not as great is when I'm working out and breathing really hard and trying to drink out of it.

5 out of 5 stars Great for the gym   November 23, 2008
Good size water bottle. Fits all the machines at the gym. I like that when I'm working at a 10 Rate I can still quickly sip water. I hate having to fiddle with the water to drink. This bottle is very user friendly. Easy to clean. Has a nice handle. Not good for sharing.

5 out of 5 stars It's as good as everyone says it is!   November 23, 2008
I'd been searching for a good drink container for awhile. Here's the competition:
1) Paper cups with dome tops (wasteful and prone to popping off and causing a mess)
2) Comically large insulated mugs (they look bad, don't fit cup holders, and smell funny)
3) Other sport bottles (usually the grip contours and pop up valve cause them to become a little less sanitary then I like and they usually don't look as nice)
4) Refilling water bottles (a little less wasteful since they get reused before they get trashed, but try putting ice in one of these to refresh a drink)

This bottle however: looks great, doesn't spill (there some minor pressure issues as it gets older), has nice cleaning path for the dishwasher, can be disassembled, isn't wasteful, is easy to add ice to (about two attached "moons" from a refrigerator ice maker), odder neutral, fits in your cup holders (one of the sizes will anyway), and now is BPA free. It doesn't get much better than this.

About the pressure issue... If the top is flipped up and not being consumed while a large temperature change is happening (abandoned icy drink in warm room) then the increasing pressure inside the bottle can force the drink up the straw and eventually past the bite valve. Even if it does, it will not spill. The drink collects on a little lip and then gets channeled back to the intake valve eventually evening out the pressure and just surprising you with a couple of drips if you aren't paying attention. This is a rare occurrence and won't happen at all if you get used to putting the valve down for long periods.
