Great Scooter! Hours of fun!!! November 20, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 10 year old son loves this scooter. I can't get him off of it for anything. He's skating all over our house. I am so glad to see him getting some exercize for a change. He used to be in front of his computer day and night. A scooter is a definite great gift for the season, and my son loves this one.
Sturdy and stylish November 8, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This scooter will last a long time. We search a long time to find a green one and we're glad we waited. My daughter thinks the color is very stylish, but could easily be a boy color.
Great for the price! November 2, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 8-yr old daughter loves this scooter! Nothing fancy, but it's all she needs in a scooter. She's about 54 inches tall and it is perfect for her at the highest handle setting. Folds up nice and small so we can take it when we travel and the price is great. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the mechanism to close it is sometimes hard to work and she can't do it herself.
Oh What Fun! September 15, 2007 Two years ago I purchased two of these for my (now) five year old twins and just recently purchased this one for my two and a half year old because he was always vying for one of theirs. When I bought them for the twins they were about $25 each. I was shocked when I saw the price increase, but wasn't willing to purchase the less expensive model that got strong negative reviews. Knowing just how much use it will receive over the next few years makes the price tag worth it. I also got a razor scooter for the five year olds hoping to ease them into a two wheeled scooter, but they so far want nothing to do with it. And so now all three of my little ones zoom around on these micro scooters with ease, banking it just by shifting their weight. I was also very pleased with the communcation and extremely quick delivery of the person I purchased it through, micromom.com.
Good kids scooter September 13, 2007 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
We purchased two of the A2 scooters (purple and green), and our kids really love them. For me personally (a middle-aged man), they remind me of skateboarding as a kid. I was initially hesitant to get scooters, because I recall that there were many hand injuries from the early models. After examining the A2 however, I don't think there's much risk of that anymore. The handles are locked into the stem using a positive locking button nub, and the stem itself is locked using a clamp very much like your bicycle seat stem. The scooter's frame is heavy duty enough to hold my weight (165 pounds), so it's plenty strong enough for most kids.
Overall, the kids love the scooters. And for the price (around $40 shipped), I couldn't find anything better that would get the kids outside doing some physical activity.
