5 out of 5 stars The wheels work just fine.   December 31, 2008
My little 4 year old got this from Santa this year and it has been a huge hit. I read a lot of reviews when deciding what to tell Santa to get for our little one. A lot of the reviews here talked about the wheels and how they didn't work properly. We have not had an issue with the wheels. We also got the kick scooter A for the 6 year old in our family. The kiddie scooter does not move as fast as the regular scooter but people saying that the even going downhill the scooter did not roll are either trying to go down really rocky hills or have a defective scooter. If for some reason the wheels are not fast enough they can always be replaced with the wheels with bearings and that should do the trick. The scooter is very sturdy and even on carpet it has performed well. I would highly recommend this over the scooters with 2 wheels in the front as having the wheels in the back creates a much more safe scooting experience.

1 out of 5 stars Terrible!   December 30, 2008
This scooter is terrible! It it difficult to use because it hardly moves! Figured that the Razor scooters were so well-rated that this would be great too. Don't waste your money on this one. I'll try my Palo Alto neighbor, Chet's advice and change the wheels.

The Razor A3 we have is awesome and as fast and smooth as a bike. Wait till your child is around age 5 and then get him/her a regular Razor scooter.

Very well built. Seems like it will hold up to the abuse I'm sure my son will put it through.

5 out of 5 stars Grandson Loves his "Tooter Scooter"   September 9, 2008
My 3 y/o grandson (will be 4 in Oct. '08) has wanted a tooter scooter (from one of his shows) for a long time. I was delighted to see that Razor made a scooter for younger children. It was reviews from other parents and grandparents that lead me to purchase it and it complete lived up to my expectations. He was thrilled. His parents were happy with the safety aspects. It has 3 wheels, 2 in back for greater stability; a large platform with for his foot with a material that helps his foot keep its grip. The handlebars are adjustable. It's easy for him to use.

5 out of 5 stars Great Scooter!   August 28, 2008
We got this for my daughter last Christmas and she loved it! It is so cute and very durable ( she breaks everything!) and all her girl friends or cousins love it too! Cute spare tire too.
